Batman golf cart sells for $17,500 on eBay

Guys, we missed out.

This Batman-style golf cart recently sold for $17,500 on eBay and we just whiffed on it. At the very least we could have gotten a Kickstarter going just to see what would happen.

According to the eBay posting the cart...
"Started off with an EZ-Go Golf-Cart, then stripped it down to the frame and 4 cup holders."
"Is hand crafted from the frame and sheet metal, including a sculpted, molded cowl, attention was paid to every detail."
"Has well over $30,000 to make it runs great and cosmetic condition is excellent, along with low hours."
I'm not sure how the economics of selling a $30,000 cart for $17,500 works but I'm not complaining.

I'm also not sure where, exactly, you put your clubs. But who cares? Some lucky fool is driving a Batman golf cart next to his buddy's Bubba Hovercraft!

K.J. Choi gives $100,000 to typhoon relief efforts in Philippines

This isn't unusual for Choi -- he donated $100,000 to Haiti after its earthquake disaster and$200,000 to tornado relief efforts in the United States in 2011. He also sent $100,000 to tsunami victims in Japan in 2011.

Choi said the tragedy saddens him and he wanted to let the Philippines know that his home country of Korea cares about them.
"I wanted to represent Korea in sharing the sentiment of my fellow countrymen to our friends in the Philippines," said Choi. "I send my deepest condolences to the people of the Philippines who have lost their families and homes."
It's a pretty great gesture by one of the quietly great guys in golf.
